Department of Environmental Quality Report

Create a page of graphic standards with type, color, and spreads for my portfolio page.

Problem

The Utah Department of Environmental Quality has collected information about the health of the environment and needs to produce a report for public officials, environmentally–conscious citizens, and influential corporations. Besides the body copy, the report must include success stories, appropriate photography, and illustrative graphs. The design needs to be strong and consistant to reflect the integrity and mission of the DEQ.

Solution

The final report utilizes a clear and bold structure, emphasizing a hierarchy of information on each page, and allowing the content to shine through. The report is divided into three main sections: air, land, and water, and each is accompanied by its own color, photography, and graphs.
