Attach print of slip box design to actual box... somehow.
Problem
Stephen King needs a new series of book covers and a slip box to house them all, for a three–part collection of his top–selling novels. Each book cover should be unique to its own story while maintaining a consistent feel across the entire set. The designs should appeal to both avid King fans and random passersby in bookstores.
Solution
A minimal and striking design was achieved by rendering each cover in only black and red (significant horror colors), and by using basic geometric shapes and lines to subtly illustrate the story within. Ambiguous play of positive and negative space, as well and light and dark, creates a bold, frightening feel, appropriate for Stephen King tales.
